Camera systems don't prevent threats, they take pictures - Artificial Intelligence can now change this fact.
Today’s response times to an active threat are only measured from that first shout, alarm or shot. So, while a 2, 3, 5 or even 10 minute response might sound good it invariably means that there will likely be casualties. Our Pre-eVentive strategy has always been that we must address threats BEFORE that first shot is fired (“left of bang”) instead of focusing on what we should do AFTER that first shot is fired (“right of bang”). Active shooters routinely breach, or simply ignore, costly fixed assets like metal detectors and cameras. However, we now have the ability to identify, locate and confront active shooters much earlier than we ever dreamed of by using Artificial Intelligence (AI) software paired with your existing camera system and response protocols.
We teach our clients how to Pre-eVent threats by developing a proactive mindset and by providing them the skills and tools they need to take action.
Level 5: AI Identification
When You Respond Earlier You Save Lives. Data tells us that in most active shooter scenarios there is a short window of opportunity for security personnel or law enforcement to engage the shooter BEFOREthey begin their attack. It is in these early seconds that action is critical, as in before they have passed the point of no return. Your camera system can finally prevent loss of life instead of recording it.
What Pre-eVention Services and ZERO EYEScan do for you: STOP active shooters with REAL-TIME weapon detection and alerts.Identify armed threat as they approach your business, school or place of worship. Increase situational awareness for your first responders with up to the second location information on the active shooter.
5 part Pre-eVention safety & security strategy
Level 1: Situational Awareness
We are often told “see something, say something” but sadly, that rarely happens before violent and tragic events have concluded.
Level 2: Up-skill Safety/Security Personnel
Decision makers routinely let unqualified, untrained and uninvested personnel protect schools, businesses and places of worship and very little is done in the way of checks and balances as to their qualifications, background and skills.
Level 3: Threat Identification & Assessment
How to conduct an innocous interview with those reporting a threat or those making the threat. How and when to de-escalate or escalate a response and how to develop an effective reporting structure are all critical lifesaving skills.
Level 4: Working K9s & Handlers
While human involvement in your safety and security strategy is essential, the addition of a dedicated K9 with a trained handler, adds an exponential benefit.
Level 5: AI Identification
There has been a national movement to place more cameras in schools, businesses and places of worship to increase security. We question this thinking by asking "how does a camera actually prevent a terrorist" who is so committed that they actually view the cameras as an asset to document their attack and to "make them famous".
We support Threat Prevention Services because they provide career opportunities to veterans. Keep up the good work.

I have two young kids. Good luck getting past the armed combat veteran and his dog at the gate. Finally feel secure.
